About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Finance & Business Leadership
• Own the end-to-end financial strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and growth targets
• Partner with leadership on long-term planning, pricing models, and business model optimization
• Build dynamic forecasting models and data-driven frameworks to support new market entry, product expansion, and global scaling
• Guide the board and leadership team with clear, actionable financial insights
• Operational Finance & Systems
• Implement world-class systems, dashboards, and controls to streamline finance operations
• Lead all accounting, audit, compliance, tax, and treasury functions
• Ensure timely, accurate reporting across internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, and capital allocation
• SaaS Metrics & Performance Optimization
• Track and optimize key SaaS KPIs: ARR, MRR, churn, LTV, CAC, gross margin, payback period amongst others
• Leverage financial data to improve unit economics, customer lifecycle profitability, and burn efficiency
• Build tools and reports to drive business intelligence across teams
• Capital Strategy & Investor Relations
• Lead fundraising efforts across equity and debt; prepare pitch materials and own investor narratives
• Maintain strong relationships with VCs, PEs, lenders, and strategic partners
• Deliver consistent, transparent communication to investors and board members
• Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Identify financial and operational risks; implement strong mitigation frameworks
• Ensure compliance with all local and international financial regulations and tax laws
• Review and negotiate financial terms in contracts, vendor agreements, and commercial obligations
• Cross-Functional Impact
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, and People teams to align budgeting, resourcing, and performance metrics
• Serve as a cultural steward, helping build a values-driven, high-trust organization

Requirements

• CA / CPA / MBA (Finance or related field)
• 10+ years in financial leadership roles, with 3+ years in a SaaS or high-growth tech company
• Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and business models (ARR, MRR, LTV, CAC, churn)
• Proven experience leading fundraising rounds and scaling finance operations
• Hands-on experience with financial systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills
• Track record of navigating ambiguity and scaling in fast-paced environments

• Experience in VC/PE-backed companies
• Global or cross-border finance operations
